Thread Lift

Ageing is inevitable, but we can age gracefully. With ageing come wrinkles, folds, fine lines and saggy face. But all of this can be resolved with a right choice. Anti-ageing threads will help you age gracefully.

About Thread Lifts

A thread lift (also known as “lunch hour lift”) is a type of facelift. Thread lifts usually help to enhance the appearance of sagging neck, sagging cheeks, jowls, and droopy eyebrows. The surgery can also be modified to meet the client’s requirements.

Is thread lift different from other facelifts?

Thread facelifts are very convenient alternatives to traditional surgical facelifts. This method involves implanting a mini-thread in the dermis (the inner layer of skin). After the devices are pulled out from the dermis, the inserted sutures stay in the skin.

Are these threads safe for the body?

Yes. These threads are made of Polydioxanone (PDO), which are bio-compatible, synthetic, absorbable, monofilaments, non-toxic and heavy metal free material threads.

Who can opt for a threadlift?

Women and men who want to get rid of these signs can opt for thread lifting. It is suited for individuals of the age group 40 – 60 years. Best results are obtained on the skin with minimal sagging on the areas like cheeks, jowls, brows and neck.

How do thread lifts work?

The PDO threads cause a minimum inflammatory reaction in tissue. Thread lifting relaxes the muscles and tendons while stimulating the production of new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. It is a softer approach than conventional facelifts and allows a safe reduction of the signs of ageing; the threads are biodegradable and biocompatible.

Skin rejuvenation by this method is advantageous as:

  • it has a quick recovery
  • excellent and long-lasting results are obtained in short time
  • a minimally invasive procedure which leaves no scars
  • it is a quick and effective solution available at an affordable cost when compared to regular facelift methods.

What is the duration of the procedure?

The procedure requires 20 to 30 minutes.

How much time it takes to recover?

The recovery period is about 1-2 weeks, in rare cases 1 month. The recovery period depends on the age of the patient, tissue healing, correctness of care, threads used, and the hygiene rules followed.

Would I need multiple sessions?

Optimum results can be obtained in two to three sessions at an interval of one to two months.

Are there any side effects?

Although it s a very safe procedure, very rarely, thread lifts can cause minor side effects. However, the chances are very rare.
